{Social - Emotional Empowerment Learning & Movement For Girls}
BIG NEWS!!!!!
We learned some great lessons during the pandemic and one of those is that we want kids
everywhere to be able to learn the power of movement and how to use their voices to
advocate for themselves and others!
This means ALL of our curricula is now available to download for FREE!
Thanks to generous donors, we are able to ensure all kids everywhere can have access to
Mini Mermaids and Young Tritons!

A lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Lisa Ferdinandsen is a freelance graphic designer with a passion for the great outdoors. When she's not working, she's out running, swimming and biking and when she's not out running, swimming and biking you can find her in her art studio painting the likes of her friends' pets. Having grown up in a robust public school system with access to intramural and after school sports, she's excited to help bring Mini Mermaid Running Club to those girls whose schools may not be able to provide such life enriching programs.
"I once was that young girl -- who benefited greatly from after-school sports programming. Whether it was jumping rope or playing dodgeball (grammar school) or competing on organized sports teams (high school) I learned to value not only the athletic endeavor, but to make friends, be a part of team, set goals, and push myself. And what better way to give back and share those values with young girls today than with Mini Mermaid Running Club? I believe whole heartedly in MMRC's mission to "teach girls to lead a healthy life by listening to her inner voice, valuing her uniqueness, learning to love movement and discovering the finish line is JUST the beginning.""
